Temperature Control? Traditional storage? What type of storage space is best for my belongings?

Uncle Bob's offers several storage environment options at many locations (environments do vary, however, so please check for availability):

    Dri-guard Humidity Control

    • Maintains humidity levels to help prevent mold, mildew, corrosion, and warping of paper and wood.

    • Centrally monitored and controlled air system.

    Traditional Storage

    • Our standard storage space... clean and dry with no climate control features.
    • Equivalent to storing your belongings in a typical household garage.

To decide if a premium storage environment is necessary for your valuables, ask these important questions:

  • What valuables do I have that are susceptible to temperature extremes or the harmful effects of humidity (mold, mildew, rust, paper degradation)?
  • How long will I be storing these items?  If you plan on storing them longer than three months, it may be wise to choose a Climate Controlled or Humidity Controlled space to help protect those belongings.
  • Will I be spending a lot of time in the storage space?  Some of our customers visit their storage spaces frequently - for comfort, it may be desirable to have temperature control for those hot and cold days.
